Experienced pet carer who spent 2 years in the UK working professionally for Animal Aunts. Looked after a wide assortment of dogs, including prized Bloodhounds for their owner who was a Cruft's judge; the British Husky Racing winning team of dogs, whose alpha male had a broken leg. Became a trouble shooter for Animal Aunts, especially on difficult jobs. All dogs love us. They can sense good vibes and a kind heart. All cats are attracted to James for some reason, but I feed them so they love me too. James learnt how to administer insulin twice daily to a diabetic cat in Ingham for a few weeks. The owner was very relieved when she returned and saw her fur baby was in good condition.

My husband James and I have purchased a large motorhome and are looking forward to travelling around Queensland during 2024 and beyond. We are towing a little Kia Piccanto on a small trailer behind the motorhome. Therefore we need a large flat area to park upon, so generally choose acreage sits.
We both love dogs, cats. chooks, birds, fish etc. . (We have also looked after lizards, feeding them live cockroaches with big tweezers, (interesting experience.) We love native animals, especially magpies and had formed very friendly relationships with our local ones in Howard, Qld.
We are members of Mindahome too and have several 5star ratings on there
We are non-smokers, clean, neat and tidy people, reliable, sensible and trustworthy. As one client wrote, "Perfect house sitters." ue and James were perfect housesitters. I was a wee bit anxious to use a house sitter for the first time, but found myself relaxed after meeting Sue and James the week before our holiday, seeing how well the dogs responded to them. We came home to a very clean house and happy relaxed dogs to which we were very grateful. All communication was easy and clear to organise the sit, and we would have them back again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend. Thank you Sue and James!

They did a great job at keeping an eye on the place, Everything that was meant to stay alive stayed alive. Everything that was meant to die died. The dogs loved them and our cat (Usually a snob) liked them too so if that is anything to go by I can honestly say that they did an incredible job. They even cleaned our washing machine when things weren't working the way it was suppose to. These sitters arrived 4 days before we were due to leave, we showed them what needed to be done, and they said that’s ok….When we left the garden was totally weed free as we spent a day before they arrived to make sure it was. 90% of the garden is on timer taps…Sadly on our return they had not even tried to pull weeds, the gardens and driveways were overrun with weeds and most knee high. Susan and James came to our rescue for three weeks while we were absent from our property. All the required requests were carried out, and we were relieved when they also agreed to give our cat his twice daily insulin, something which had caused us prior anxiety. Susan and James are an honest, quiet, respectful and unobtrusive couple who were happy to go the extra mile in caring for our home, even taking our car for its service before we arrived home.
