We need a house sitter

Tasmania - North West

Lilasuka

3 friendly dogs need feeding while we are overseas for a few months.

Fully fenced 25 acres rural property with 4 x 3 bedroom homes and 2 single bedroom cabins. There are 2 families and 3 singles on the farm now plus dogs 🐕 , puppies 🐶 , cows 🐄, goats 🐐, sheep 🐑, turkeys 🦃, geese 🪿, ducks 🦆, chickens 🐓, rabbits 🐇, and ferrets.

This farm is a farm animal sanctuary and all the humans living on the farm now are vegetarian. Some more than others.

Our family is going to Philippines for two months and leaving a 3 bedroom home empty that is fenced separate as this farm used to be 2 separate farms.

Some of the other homes are rented long term and 1 is on Air BnB. We also have up to 10 backpackers doing farm work and construction in summer although the farm will not be available to backpackers if no one is here to help manage them.

There is accommodation available now for a suitable person or family if desired to relocate to this farm or use as a first stop in relocating to Tasmania. There are opportunities to make some income here doing construction, fencing, farming, or selling at markets. There is also an option to do a simple house sit with our 3 dogs while our family goes to the Philippines for 6 to 8 weeks. So please contact us as suitable let us know what your preferences and abilities are.
