We need a house sitter

Adelaide - Western & Beach Suburbs

Mark

Hi house sitters!

I stumbled across this site out of a little bit of desperation, and hoping we can find the right match.

My wife and I have just welcomed our first son, and we are hoping to take our first holiday together since before COVID hit, and before she has to return to work.

The tricky part is getting someone to take care of our fur babies while we are away. We used to have a good friend who would look after our house but he is no longer available, so I am turning to you!

The trip is not booked yet, so dates are tentative.

About our boys: We have two dogs; one a 14 year old Beagle, and the other a 9 year old Staffy. They were once best friends but as the beagle got a bit older, they had a few disagreements, and as a result we have decided to keep them seperated. So, the beagle lives a quiet life in his own bedroom, coming out whenever he needs to, as well as getting some sun through the day. The staffy is also an inside dog, but gets more of a free run of the house. The important part is that we keep them apart at all times just in case. This is the most important thing we can request for anyone looking after our house and pets.

The old boy likes to get up and go outside in the morning for a toilet break, and being a beagle, will demand to be fed! The staffy is not as fussy, and is quite happy to sleep on the couch until late in the morning.

What is in it for you? Our location is great. We are a 5 minute walk from the beach, the Largs Pier Hotel, cafes etc. We are a 2 minute walk from the train station.

Our house is an old duplex, but we have most things you need (internet, tv etc etc). We would request that whoever was able to housesit was a non smoker - sorry.

The garden takes care of itself, just need to put the bins out.
