Hello happy house sitters!
We are looking for a house and dog sitter as we plan to spend about 3 weeks in Asia over December/ January.
We have a new 4 bedroom house in a new development 20 minutes drive from the centre of Canberra - it's called South Jerrabomberra, or Tralee. I've noted is as Canberra, even though it's not in Canberra, but most people like us who live in Jerrabomberra work in Canberra. I've also clicked on 'city' and 'country' in the advertisement because the house is out of town, but it's just 15-20 minutes to get into the city.

It's 5 minutes drive from an Aldi, mcdonalds, woolies, Jerrabomberra pub and KFC but it is 'out of town'. You would need your own transport as the bus service is irregular.

We have 2 big dogs- a lovely 11 year old German Shepherd called Kaiser, and 7 year old Groodle, Poppy, who love nothing more than Cuddles and a walk on the nearby trails. The house has a king and 2 queens beds, 2 bathrooms and stacks of solar, so you can pump up the aircon all day long if the weather gets hot!
The house is not far from some hills if you like some more serious exercise.
House sitting requirements: a daily walk with Kaiser and Poppy, They are big so if you're not an experienced dog walker, they could be too big for just one person to walk. We would also appreciate if you could clean up after the dogs and water the lawn and garden.
The dogs are inside dogs and great with kids and we would be very happy to have kids stay (Dogs would LOVE this as it might mean more pats!).

We really enjoyed taking care of Kaiser and Poppy and Sarah's and Tom's house. Kaiser and Poppy are big doggies but are very friendly and easy to take care for. They are very playful and were wonderful with our 4-year old daughter. Sarah and Tom were very kind and thoughtful hosts - they even purchased groceries for us! Sarah and Tom have been very welcoming and generous from the start and really made it easy for us to get to know their house and lovely pets. We truly enjoyed looking after Poppy and the house. It was an absolute pleasure house sitting for Sarah and Tom and the gorgeous Kaiser and Poppy! Sarah and Tom were very generous hosts and very easy going.
