Claire

We are seeking someone to care for our friendly, affectionate dog whilst we are away . We have a mini schnauzer called obi who is 7 yrs old and loves company.
We are located in the lovely, leafy residential suburb of Ashgrove, approx 6km from Brisbane cbd. This sit would be ideally suited to a retired couple or someone who is around during the day (i.e not working full time).It could be the ideal housesit for someone who is travelling or looking to be near family at Christmas time. Obi loves being around people and is used to having people around during the day so we would not want him left for long periods of time.
We live in a recently renovated 4 bed house in the Ashgrove, it has air conditioning, a large open plan kitchen/living dinning areas and a sizeable lawned garden. Located in a quiet are, but within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and public transport, i. There is a bus stop around a 3 min walk away which goes straight to Brisbane city. We have good wifi coverage as well at Netflix etc.

Claire and family, We are so thankful that we were able to help you out and staying at your beautiful home also helped us out - so we could visit family and friends. Your home is lovely and comfortable and in a beautiful neighbourhood and Solo warmed up to both hubby and I quickly - we really enjoyed our cuddles and his black coat is beautiful and his motor (purr) was gorgeous. We felt privileged to look after this beautiful house, Solo & Obi whilst the family spent time in the UK. The house is in a great location with a perfect vista. Solo & Obi are great characters who let you know what they wanted & who was the boss! Obi, loved his walks morning & night, as did we. We were able to communicate any little issues with Claire and resolve them. We'd be happy to be asked again if the occasion presented.

You may consider yourself a very lucky person to reside in this Brisbane home. Claire and her family are very genuine and approachable. They were easy to contact throughout the sit, and a guide was provided. Obi and Solo are adorable and very affectionate, they love to hang out with you and cuddle up. Claire and Graeme were great with making arrangements and were most welcoming when we arrived. They have a beautiful home and Solo & Obi we're so easy to look after. A car was made available to us so we could explore the area, but actually it was a joy just to relax around the pool. We loved staying at Claire's and looking after their beautiful pets and home in The Gap. Mini Schnauzer Obi was a delight, who loved going for walks and snuggling up next to you, and Solo the cat was very affectionate. We felt privileged to sit for Claire and Graham when they had a well deserved holiday. Their large modern home is very comfortable with awesome views of the valley and Mt Cootha. We had good communication prior to the sit and we also called in to meet the family at their home six weeks before the sit dates where we met the fur babies and orientation of the home.
