Captains Flat NSW

We have a small house on 1200sqm with one bedroom available.
Captains Flat is a small peaceful town in Southern NSW less than an hour’s drive from Canberra and just over two hours to the coast. It is surrounded by accessible bushland and is quiet and safe. There is a public pool, men’s shed cafe (open on weekends), bowling club and the recently reopened Captains Flat Hotel.
In Canberra you can visit great galleries, museums, parklands, theatres, cinemas, cafes, restaurants and more….. everything you can expect from our nation’s capital!
Queanbeyan and Bungendore are 35 minutes away for all your essentials.
We have three cats who are indoor with access to a netted patio (which our clever neighbour named The Catio).
The boys, black cats Howard Moon and Vince Noir (Howie and Vincey) are 15 year old brothers with very different personalities. Howie is outgoing, friendly and affectionate while Vincey is quiet, shy and cautious. Our newest addition, Willow, 2yr old maple/grey tabby, is a little firecracker who never stops giving the boys a hard time but will stay away from humans until she feels safe. They all enjoy time in the catio and, in the summer they’ll happily spend nights out there.
We have some houseplants that need watering but no other house/garden maintenance is required.
Sitters will have access to starlink wifi and a range of streaming platforms, fresh air, peace and quiet, bush walks, warm days and cool nights, fully equipped kitchen, gas bbq and instant hot water.
