We are looking for a pet sitter to care for our energetic 2-year-old rescue Staffie mix and our sleepy older cat Over Christmas

Our home is situated in the charming township of Belgrave, nestled among the trees of the Dandenong Ranges. With great walks accessible right from our doorstep, you’ll have plenty to explore.

The township’s high street, with numerous cafes, restaurants, bars, and a cinema, is less than a 5-minute walk away, as are the train station and the iconic Puffing Billy Railway.

Our house is a large, renovated property with a spacious backyard nestled in the tree, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a fire pit evening. You can also have a BBQ (coal/Big Green Egg) on the deck while making friends with the local birdlife or enjoy the sun set.
We have a dedicated home office with highspeed 5G internet perfect for anyone working from home or studying

Who We Are Looking For:
Our dog while loving and very affectionate is strong and energetic, with a tendency to react to other dogs, so we are looking for someone in their 20s to late 40s with experience handling large dog breeds and the confidence to take her out and about.

Unfortunately, this pet sit is not suitable for children under 10 or other pets.

The ideal pet sitter would be home for a large portion of the time and able to take our dog out for on-lead walks. Despite 1.5 years of training, her recall is still not great.

Our cat looks after himself, just needing to be fed and an occasional cuddle.
