Hi,

My dad, sister, and I are going on a holiday to Europe from December to early January. We’re looking for someone who might be willing to pet-sit our two female dogs, as well as help with feeding a turtle (don’t worry, all you need to do is drop food at the top of the tank) and some fish.

Both dogs are Maltese x Shih Tzu and are 9 and 10 years old. They are indoor dogs, and unfortunately, the older dog requires daily medication (morning and night), but she is very good at taking it. She is also blind but navigates well around the house. Due to her medication, she may have occasional accidents indoors if not taken outside regularly (but nothing a mop and water can’t clean).

We are looking for someone to pet-sit from Tuesday, December 3rd, to Tuesday, January 7th, at our home in Carseldine (Brisbane Northside). We also want to inform potential sitters that we have indoor cats, but we will be putting them in boarding to make the pet-sitting duties easier.

In exchange for pet-sitting, we’re offering free accommodation at our home, which includes access to a pool—perfect for the summer! This arrangement would be ideal for anyone with family visiting for Christmas and New Year, backpackers, or someone needing temporary accommodation due to a lease ending or moving.
