Launching Place VIC

It was lovely to meet Pat and Bruce before the set off on their holiday. They were very welcoming and friendly and showed us what needed to be done with the animals/house. They have a wonderful and well cared for garden that welcomes lots of fantastic birds so you can sit and watch. Great house and comfortable beds. Nice quiet area with shops not too far away. A day out to the chocolaterie and also the animal sanctuary is a great visit. Looking after the chooks was easy and they supplied us ... They have a wonderful and well cared for garden that welcomes lots of fantastic birds so you can sit and watch. Great house and comfortable beds. Nice quiet area with shops not too far away. A day out to the chocolaterie and also the animal sanctuary is a great visit. Looking after the chooks was easy and they supplied us with eggs to eat every day which was nice! And finally the highlight of the sit was Rusti the Jack Russell. She is such a wonderful natured dog who will happily be your best friend while you are there. We won't forget her.

Sitting for Bruce, Pat, and Rusti (the pet) was a real blessing. Their very calm and lovely home allowed me to rest in the garden and enjoy the nature while being close to Melbourne. Rusti (the pet) is adorable, and has kept me good company for the 3 weeks I was caring for her. The house is also very near by the Rail trail so great for walks and bike rides. Dear Pat and Bruce, It was a real pleasure to be at your place. Marika enjoyed the garden very much. And I'm proud we managed to get Bruce's lawnmower going. We will never forget Rusti. We both felt in love with that cute little lady. What a great dog! Was never boring. And well trained. We spend every day quite some time doing walks. Rusti showing us around in the garden. Bruce and Pat are a friendly outgoing couple. Their home is in a quiet are on an elevated block with the rear deck giving you the feeling you are among the tree tops. Rustic is easy to look after and loves your company, especially playing ball. We had a lovely four week housesit for Bruce and Pat in a stunning location. We bonded really well with Rusti, their very cute and affectionate Jack Russell who will love you forever if you give her some attention. The area around Launching Place is beautiful and so we really enjoyed taking Rusti for walks as it gave us the chance to be out in nature and to see some lovely scenery. We got to eat lots of freshly laid eggs from the chickens. Their lemon trees were heaving with lemons whilst we were there and so we got to cook and bake a lot of recipes with lemons in. I highly recommend housesitting for Bruce and Pat!

My Daughter and I completed a 9 day house sit for Bruce and Pat in their beautiful home in Launching place, we loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave. The home is so cosy and welcoming, the property is breath taking, but the absolute highlight was their beautiful dog Rusti. She is the most loving and affectionate dog we have ever met and we felt so lucky that we got to hang out with her. She is so well behaved and happily accompanied us everywhere, from feeding the chooks to walking ... Bruce and Pat are an amazing couple who make you feel so at home, I highly recommend this beautiful home and family to anyone who gets the chance to housesit (but I secretly hope next time they need sitters they will choose us, haha!)

We had a wonderful three weeks in the beautiful Yarra valley. House was neat and had everything we needed. Rusti was a delight to care for. Pat and Bruce made it so easy for us.

Pat and Bruce are lovely people what is reflected in their beautiful dog Rusti. She is a joy to look after, well behaved, loves cuddles and walks, and challenges you to regular ball games. The house is very easy to live in, comfortable and with a great balcony to enjoy plenty of birds.

Bruce and Pat were very welcoming, their home extremely clean and easy to care for. The grounds are lovely, nice to sit on the deck with a wine and enjoy the native birds. Rusti, the dog is such fun and only asks for a walk and ball play. A great house sit, thank you.
