We need a house sitter

Regional NSW - Northern Tablelands

Martha

Our three bedroom city home has a resident cat that needs feeding/medication (over her food) twice a day. We also have two Kelpie/Collies plus a Fox Terrier/Italian Greyhound comes for doggy day care. Our 63 ha farm, located 7 km away from home, is where the dogs have at least one run per day as the troughs for the cattle and sheep are being checked. The farm has power (incl 15 amp) and unfiltered rainwater should you wish to park your van and stay there whilst returning to town each day to look after the cat. Alternatively you can park your van at the house (also 15 amp power available) or stay in our home and visit the farm (we have a farm vehicle for this purpose).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE BEE HIVES IN THE GARDEN AT THE HOUSE WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE ATTENTION.

Why not spend Christmas in the moderate climate of Armidale! Our home includes wifi, limited TV (free to air only), and a lovely back verandah to watch the stunning sunsets with a glass of something in your hand!
Dates are flexible for your arrival and departure. We hope to travel from approx 22 December and may stay away until early new year (12 - 13 days total). Would prefer you to come a day or so prior to show you the routines.
Armidale has plenty to offer including numerous pubs, clubs, 2 cathederals, stunning waterfalls nearby, historic buildings, the regional Art Museum which hosts a huge collection of early 20th century Australian artists donated by Howard Hinton, and plenty more!!!

No rating What a great house to share with Lily the cat (whom I rarely saw - extremely low maintenance) and the dogs Skippy and Sunny plus Boags who would come and spend the day with us. They all loved rides in the ute (not the cat lol) and runs on the property to help me check on the cattle. The property is wishing 10min of town and has a huge shed and plenty of room to park a caravan or campervan if you choose not to stay at the house in the town. No rating Brian and I thoroughly enjoyed farm sitting for Martha inear Armidale. We got to know and love the animals like they were our own. We also enjoyed Armidale city and the beautiful surroundings. Martha and Johann made us very welcome and we felt like part of the family.
