I’m going away on Friday afternoon, 20th Dec 2024 and returning on Friday late night, 3rd Jan 2025. I’m looking for someone responsible to take care of my cat and maintain my unit.

ABOUT THE CAT : She’s an independent 4 years indoor cat who likes her own space. She is a bit wary of strangers at first but will come around you soon. She is used to being by herself during the day, but does enjoy sitting next you at night. She also likes playing with you. Please feed her twice a day (one wet food pouch in morning/dry food in afternoon), change water every day, clean litter box.

ABOUT THE PLACE : A quiet single level unit with two bedrooms, 1 bathroom in Surrey Hills. Please check mailbox, maintain security of house, regular house cleaning as needed and take out/bring in rubbish bins as required.

AMENITIES NEARBY : 10 mins walk to train stations (Cantebury, Chatham, Union), 5 mins walk to tram stop (No. 70), 2 mins walk to bus stop (No. 612), plenty of street parking. Camberwell Junction, Balwyn Shopping Precinct and Boxhill Shopping Centre are 10 mins drive. Woolworths /Coles are 5 mins drive.

PREFERENCES : Someone who is very tidy, calm and loves cats.

Sophie was great to communicate with, responding to any messages quickly. She gave a great overview of the place and how to best care for Cookie. The apartment had everything needed, and while I had a car is within a 10 min walk to the train. Cookie was adorable and extremely easy to care for. She took a little time to warm, however by the end of the time was a good friend 😊. I would be very happy to care for Cookie again!

I had such a lovely time at Sophie’s. She was easy to speak to and liaise with about the house and the details to care for her ragdoll cat, Cookie. My partner came to stay with me for the year end holidays which Sophie was very kind to accommodate. We both love Cookie very much and enjoyed her company too.
