Lugarno NSW

Looking for house sitter during April /May 2025.

We have a lovely modern 2 storey house in beautiful Lugarno - one of the "unknown" suburbs of southern Sydney. Lugarno is peninsula suburb around 20km to the CBD and is surrounded on 3 x sides by the Georges River. There are lots of lovely parks and bushwalks.

There are 2 dogs to be looked after - Poppy & Pixie - who are 9
year old fluffy terrier sisters, and a cat, Percy, who is 14 years old.

Our house has wonderful river views as well as bush aspect. All rooms have a lovely view. There is also a swimming pool.

Poppy & Pixie need to be walked once a day, whether they want to or not - once they get started they are happy to continue. They are however "ball obsessed" so a few short play sessions a day will keep them happy & healthy.. They are also very dog reactive so need to be kept on a leash when outside the house (except in the backyard) and not taken to dog parks or off leash areas. Percy the cat also enjoys going on short walks and he often also joins in the backyard play sessions.

Poppy & Pixie love being with humans and will follow you around. They also are used to sleeping on the bed, so you need to be ok with that. Percy generally prefers to sleep in the garage.

As mentioned, we have pool. As Lugarno is a wonderful bush area there are also a lot of trees near the pool, so if you have a bit of knowledge re scooping, cleaning skimmer, backwashing that would be useful.

Our gardens are low maintenance and only require watering if there has not been any rain. There are a few outdoor pot plants that will need to be watered once a week.

There are 2 train lines to CBD within a 10 minute drive. off street parking is available at both. There is also a bus stop opposite the house and buses run every hour to train station.

We have a good size driveway for off-street parking and locked garage space for a small car. Our car will also be in the garage, but is not available for use.

You will have available a downstairs large room with queen size bed, lounge, & desk . There is also another bedroom upstairs with king single bed. Both rooms have wardrobes with ample storage space.

Main bathroom upstairs and ensuite next to your downstairs room.

Open plan kitchen, living, dining upstairs with another living room (with large screen TV) downstairs. Connected to Foxtel & Netflix.

3 x balconies, all with views. There are a number of stairs both internal and external,

Ducted air-con, although we don’t need use very much as house is comfortable.

There is also another room under the house which has some gym equipment and bathroom.

Apologies, a few of the rooms will not be available for your use (ie main bedroom / ensuite, main study)

Would prefer a couple who, ideally, work from home - at last part of the time. 3 needy animals and a large house is really too much for a single person

IT IS A REQUIREMENT THAT WE PHYSICALLY MEET WITH PROSPECTIVE SITTERS AT THE PROPERTY
