We need a house sitter

we live on a 5 acre bush block, 15 mins from a major shopping centre and 5 mins from the local train station. The dogs and chickens will TLC and we have vegetables/herb gardens and fruit trees that you are welcome to eat or potter in if you enjoy working in the garden. We have two fire trails that lead off our property and a state forest just down the road. We are looking for non smokers, happy to stay on a bush block and are comfortable around 39+ kg dog who is about 8 yrs old and on medication every second day and an almost 2 yr old very energetic dog. Please note the older dog is a large, gentle giant that will try to sit in your lap but can be unpredictable around other dogs and cats. So if you own animals this sit is not suitable for you.

This is the housesit you cross your fingers and hope for, everything beautifully clean, perfectly laid out, calm & relaxing. Up a flight of stairs is a very comfortable guest bed with glorious mountain treed view. Spot is a gorgeous big cuddly gentleman dog, Chip young & energetic loves chasing balls & tug of war, for his age is the smartest dog I've met & you do have to be strict but calm. 8 chickens & 1 rooster very manageable. It was a pleasure to care for Liz and Skye's home and their two affectionate dogs, Spot and Boof, over a weekend. We received a very warm welcome and their three delightful children made us feel like part of the family. They have a very nice home situated in a peaceful bushland setting shared with an array of native birds but within very easy reach of Gosford and Tuggerah. We are happy to recommend this experience to other sitters and would welcome an invitation to return for a longer stay.

We had a very pleasant house sitting experience in a peaceful setting. Liz and Skye gave us a lot of information and maintained good communication. The house very comfortable, Spot was a friendly dog who was easy to look after, and it was good to have fresh eggs from the chickens, who were easy to care for. Liz and Skye and their daughter Abby were very warm and welcoming! Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to meet the rest of the family! We also enjoyed the company of Spot, a mastiff/cattle dog who is a friendly gentle giant and meeting the new chicken. Would be very happy to housesit again if the opportunity presents itself.

We could not have picked a more perfect property (and family) for our first house sitting experience. We were presented with detailed notes, two very friendly large dogs for company, a lovely home, a spacious area for our caravan... and... chooks that delivered! My stay here was fabulous. Liz and Skye are great communicators and their instructions very clear. The house was amazing and I just loved the fire place and cute kitchen. The bed was so comfortable and the house had all the amenities I needed. The house is in a beautiful bush setting and bush walking starts in the backyard. We really enjoyed our time looking after Liz and Skye's beautiful home. The dogs are a delight to look after. Tom Tom the cat is a very happy house cat, he really liked being around us. It was our first experience with chickens and they were very easy to look after. Their eggs were a delicious added bonus.
