Upper Hermitage SA

Due to the nature of the property, we are looking for a mature couple to stay in our guest house while we are on holidays. would like to trial an arrangement (have never had this before!) for 4-5 days in November 2024, if possible, to be able to take 5-6 week holidays in June-July 2025. Garden maintenance will be minimal in winter, but plenty of healthy greens will be available. 10 chooks will offer free range eggs on a daily basis, a very friendly maremma tends to love everyone who likes her and needs a daily walk. not much can we do about a very independent cat who rules the property... but true cat lovers would be able to make friends with her. there are 5 sheep looking after grass in the paddock, they do not require any care apart from occasional care that they all are there. the property is 30 minutes drive from CBD but is classified as agricultural land and is run on rainwater, septic tank and solar. while normally everything runs smoothly, occasional attention may be required. the nearest public transport is 10 minute drive away. a variety of shops and high quality cafes are in very close proximity but accessible by car only. and you will love the tranquillity and picturesque views!
