We are a busy family with work commitments that take us away regularly.
We have 25 chickens
4 dogs
We Would like someone who is neat and tidy to stay at our place and care for our pets.

Chickens only need food and water once a day, and locked into their house at night.

Dogs need to be fed twice daily and a walk or some entertainment
Budgies just need water and food once a day - occasional clean of the cage, likely once during this period.

All the creature comforts, satellite internet, Netflix foxtel
Private property.
Little sanctuary escape.
Plenty of walking tracks
5 mins to uralla
Own transport essential.

This is a great opportunity to get a taste of the Australian farming life and environment. The best thing to do is walk the dogs into the bush/paddock and watch them enjoy life to the max! I loved collecting the eggs under tame clucking chickens (or you can get them later) and the 2 budgies are very easily contented. Bec is very busy but don't worry if you don't hear from her for a day or two in the initial setup stages because once she's committed to you she won't let you down. You'll have ... MORE

Bec's place is a beautiful property with hills and space and peace and undisturbedness. The dogs, Snowy and Luna are gorgeous, both love affection, and the chickens are great layers, giving lots of eggs which Bec was happy to share. Bec is a kind and lovely lady, easy to talk with, responsive to all queries and checking in afterwards. Bec was very appreciative and communicated so. A great housesit and I highly recommend.
