We need a house sitter

South Western - Peel

We have one beautiful older dog, Scout (a ridgeback cross). He just needs some company, love and attention while we are away.

Our house is on 2.5 acres in Serpentine, surrounded by great neighbours and the beautiful Australian bush! Lots of local natural attractions. There is less 'convenience' around - e.g. no shopping centres or ubereats or anything - Byford or Baldivis are the closest suburbs for that.

Kylie & Sven are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Serpentine is a lovely area & a good spot to go exploring from. It was a pleasure to look after their home & beautiful boy, Scout. We (& our pup, Ruby) thoroughly enjoyed Scout’s company & loved how he greeted us each morning with a smile on his face & his wagging tail. We miss him already. We also enjoyed the beautiful view from their front terrace, listening to the birds & watching the kangaroos in the paddocks. ... MORE

It was so nice to sleep in a comfortable bed in my own room in a nice house after camping for a while. Scout was an easy care dog who is getting on in years. Communication with the owners was easy

It was a real pleasure looking after Heidi and Scout. I miss them now as I think about them. The dogs themselves had a real nice bond with each other. The place is in a quiet street, with natural surrounds to enjoy. It was truly nice communicating with Kylie throughout. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Kylie and Sven’s home and their well-behaved older dogs Heidi and Scout. We felt very much at home, and so enjoyed their pool and lovely front patio area that offered some amazing views and sunsets. Their house is situated on the side of a hill in a quiet location with an abundance of birdlife and kangaroos that come down to visit each afternoon.
