Hey
We are looking for a dogsitter for our big boofhead, Toby from the 24th-28th Dec. He is a mixed breed and being a rescue he has some quirks. He is an anxious dog with strangers and can be vocal and hard to settle until he gets to know you and then his a complete love bug. Because of this we are needing an experienced dog sitter who is confident with a reactive large dog (his 30kgs). We have several management techniques for him and can provide a detailed manual on him. toby loves his sticks and he will entertain you while he tries to fit 8 sticks in his mouth at once!
Toby has had several housesitters in the past with no issues.
Toby gets very excited during walks and loves to follow his nose, this means you need to be strong to be able to pull him when he wants to follow a bird in another direction.
We live in a 3 bedroom apartment in the lovely leafy suburb of Newington within walking distance of a woolies, cafes and restaurants. The area is beautiful with lots of lovely walking tracks and parks.
We have good friends are neighbours whom Toby loves so you can also be in touch with them if you need anything

Toby was a beautiful dog to care for. Very friendly and cuddly once he got to know us. He was a happy dog to go on walks with and the house is in a perfect spot for this. I felt safe in the area and there are many routes/dog parks close by. Perfect distance to shops and PT and good communication with the owners.

Thank you for let us sitting for Toby. It was a pleasure. He is such a wonderful and heartwarming dog. We loved taking care for him; we played together and had many cuddles with him on the couch. We stayed in contact with Ceridwen and updated us. If we had question, we always got an helpful answer back. We would love to do it again. Totally recommend!! ☺️

It was a pleasure to housesit for Ceridwen, Nathan & their dog, Toby. Being a rescue dog, Toby has some issues, but Ceridwen's briefing aas excellent - which resulted in us winning over the dog's trust quickly. From there, everything was easy as pie! This was a very enjoyable sit, in a lovely location. Highly recommended.
