Hello,

I am looking for someone who would be willing to hang out with my best friend at my house over the holidays! I'm heading overseas to spend Christmas with my entire family for the first time in 6 years! I appreciate it's a tricky time of year and would be very grateful if someone was available. I have found sitters through the 25th who are a bit flexible if someone was interested in coming anytime between 24-26 Dec.

I have a 3 bedroom house on the outskirts of Kingaroy. It is air conditioned with fans throughout and we usually have lovely breezes for most of the day. I have a large, fenced backyard and a small front yard that is cared for weekly. There are a few plants that would need a drink once or twice a week depending on how the weather is this year. We have open fields behind and beside us with cows that visit most mornings and the occasional goat and sheep who wander through the back paddock.

My dog Max is an 11 yr old Lab/Kelpie X who loves going for walks, playing with his frisbee, eating and sleeping. He is on twice a day medications so I need someone who is comfortable bribing him to take it (and he does love a bribe!) He is pretty low maintenance but is my best friend so I need someone who appreciates that as well.

Kingaroy is a small, rural town with local mountain biking, a lovely rail trail for cycling, running or walking. There is a community pool and a few dams around that have fishing. There are also a few wineries nearby and some lovely hiking trails in the Bunya Mountains. I'm new to this area and have yet to explore it all so I'm sure I'm not covering everything on offer either!
