Little Bay NSW

Modern townhouse located in a quiet suburb in Sydney's East, close to the airport. We have a 12 year old rescue Dalmatian, he's great with people (but not other dogs) and loves cuddles. He's a senior dog with arthritis and a previous spinal surgery, so needs gentle handling.

We are about 10 minutes walk to the local beach, and 20 minutes walk from a national park. Surrounded by golf courses, bushland and water. There are cafes, a gym, laundromat, supermarket, bottle shop and medical centre within 10 mins walk.

Convenient public transport to the city, with buses to a Westfield shopping centre (15 mins) and the city (45 mins). Lots of street parking available.

Wifi throughout all areas of the house. There is a work station set up in the bedroom, or you can also work from the lounge/dining area.

Requirements of the Sitter:

Looking after Sherlock, our 12 year old rescue Dalmatian. He is very much a people dog and will love to get as much cuddles from you as he can.

He requires daily interaction, usually in the form of pats and a food toy. He is dog reactive, so we prefer that he is not taken for walks.

He is house trained, so you will need to let him out into the yard in the morning, evening, and before bedtime.

As a senior dog with arthritis, he may need pain meds occasionally (very easy to adminster), and gentle handling as he is unsteady on his back legs.

We will need a recent police check and a work reference please.

General house requirements:

Please maintain general cleanliness. We have tiled living room areas, which are easy to vacuum. A washer/dryer and dishwasher are available for your use during your stay.
