We need a house sitter

Michelle

We have a friendly dog called Ted, some chooks and a garden that require care whilst we are away.

Ted is a very adaptable dog and very easy to care for. He is used to being alone during the day and loves cuddles at night.
He loves going to the beach, or walks along the river.
Our potplants, vegie garden and fruit trees will require watering, Vegies/produce can be picked and enjoyed.
We also have 6 chooks that need feeding and watering, egg collection and locking up every night.
House is in a lovely area, 500m walk from river and 5 min drive to shops and beach.
Our home is modern and spacious, we feel it's a lovely place to be.

It was a pleasure to house sit Michelle and Garry’s lovely home, beautiful gardens, great chook coop and delightful Ted! We enjoyed spending time in the area and hanging out with Ted, an active little fella with a big personality, we miss him already. We had excellent communications with Michelle and Garry before, during and after the house sit, they were very helpful and kind people and we appreciate the opportunity to stay in their home.

Our stay in Michelle and Gary's house was a wonderful experience. The garden maintenance tasks were very simple and well explained, the chooks were very kind to us and Ted's just great! On top of all this, we really enjoyed having some fresh eggs in the morning in that beautiful garden. It was our pleasure to meet Michelle and Gary, such a friendly and warming people. We cannot thank Michelle, Garry and Ted enough, for our first housesit opportunity. It was a great experience, a lovely house, great little dog called Ted and awesome vege garden and of course heaps of beautiful fresh chook eggs every day. Also a very nice town is Goolwa and we loved our walks with Ted along the river most days. Thanks once again Michelle and Garry , hope to have this chance again one day. We felt we were the lucky ones to be invited to spend a week and then an additional long weekend at Michelle and Garry's beautiful home and garden. The bonus was meeting Ted, a beautiful fox terrier with impeccable manners and a delight to be with. The home is super organised and we had comprehensive notes. We are richer for having had the experience.

It was our pleasure to house-sit for Michelle. Her home is spacious and very comfortable. Communications and change-overs were hassle free. Ted, the dog and the chickens were easy care. We were spoilt with ample vegies from the garden and fresh eggs! We highly recommend Michelle's place to fellow house-sitters.
