Looking for a house/pet-sitter for 12 nights while we’re away. 4br house in quiet cul de sac; very central NB location.

Our house backs onto natural bushland and has a beautiful outlook. Newly renovated modern kitchen, open plan living, spacious bedrooms. Small patio and grassy backyard with monkey bar climbing frame for the kids.

Having your own car would be ideal for transport, but we are also serviced by buses just a 5-10min walk away. About 10mins drive to major shopping mall, 15mins to beach, 15mins to main city bus connection.

We have 1 indoor cat (low maintenance, timid, not a lap cat) who needs feeding and a clean litter tray; some Guinea pigs that will need daily feeding (we will have all food prepared in advance) and regular cage cleaning; and a tropical aquarium (only minimal feeding required)

Penny's family home was full of love and a delight to look after for 8 days. The guinea pigs were adorable and the cat was low maintenance and fun to be around. Penny was very friendly and easy to reach whenever I needed to contact her. The house is in a quiet and safe location with public transport not too far away. Penny had just installed a fabulous new kitchen just before we arrived and we absolutely loved using it over Easter. Her home was super comfortable and she made us feel very welcome on arrival. Her communication at our first meeting and later with the notes she left made the house sit a breeze. We loved looking after the 4 guinea pigs who each had their own personality and Tiger Lily who was very shy indeed. Highly recommend Penny's place as it was a very enjoyable experience..

I had a great time in Penny's lovely home. The guinea pigs are very cute and Tigerlie is shy at first, but then she loves to come and cuddle with you. Would love to come back anytime ☺️

We had a great time at Penny's place. Taking care of her guinea pigs, especially Mr. T and Sal, was a lot of fun. Tiger-lily, her cat, was initially a bit shy, but after a few days, she enjoyed cuddling with us. The house is roomy and well-kept, and communication with Penny was excellent throughout our stay.
