Blackwood SA

This is a short house sit from Tuesday 5/11, 3pm . Until Sunday 10/11, 2pm. We are visiting family in Victoria.
We live in the Adelaide Hills suburb of Blackwood. Blackwood has many cafes and eateries. The wineries of McLaren Vale are a 30-45 min drive, Brighton and Seacliff beaches 15-20 minutes drive away. Public transport is good : to the city train is a brisk 15 minute walk from our home, buses same distance.
We have a much loved female Airedale, Coco who is 7 years old. Coco enjoys going for a daily walk through the large reserve at the end of our street. Coco has homemade meals in the evening and dog biscuits in the morning after her walk.
There is much wildlife around our area: from Koalas and kangaroos to echidnas, black cockatoos, sulfa crested cockies and a family of tawny frogmouths.
We also have 4 chickens who keep us well supplied with eggs. The chickens get kitchen scraps daily, and automatic feeder needs filling weekly.
We have a good sized garden with a veggie and herbs patch, and some pot plants. which will need watering. Also the front lawn may need to be mowed. ( not for short house sit)
There is auto watering of lawn and front garden and fruit trees out back, some hand watering of veggie and herb garden will be necessary.
Our home has an art room, home office and 2 bedrooms , only one will be available for use. The Kitchen has an ‘all fridge’ with a fridge freezer in the shed( the freezer will be part filled with dog meals) but some space for house sitter.. there is a laundry with washing machine and clothesline out back. WiFi is available.There is ducted air conditioning if needed, also ceiling fans.
There is a lovely covered deck off our living room , with gas bbq.
