We need a house sitter

Central Coast

We are looking for a gentle, caring person to look after our fur babies Fetch (9 year old mini fox terrier cross jack russell), and Misty (9 year old black cat). We live on the Central Coast in a 2 story, 3 bedroom duplex, about 1km from the beach, which has an "off leash" area for dogs, and our house is in a quiet location. We have great neighbours, who are supportive but respectful of privacy. The bus stop is about 600m away, and there is a train station around 5km away. The local shops are also around 1km away, with the major supermarkets and an array of great restaurants, cafes and a pub. Fetch is a fun little fella who loves company and chasing birds. Misty is quiet and shy and has a beautiful nature. We also have one fish in a tank, who'll need a pinch of food each day.

This was a wonderful housesit for so many reasons. Jo is very easy to communicate with, left clear instructions for the care of her pets (just normal feeding and habits), and welcomed me to Umina Beach with a tour of the area. Misty the cat and Fetch the dog are like siblings, Misty is the more chilled one, ready for cuddles but never demanding. Fetch has a character like any old dog and he needs cuddles too. We had the pleasure of house and pet sitting for Jo, and it was a great experience. We did housesit for 10 days in December and then again for 2 weeks in January. The home itself is lovely, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and also really convenient for us because just 5 mins from family. Misty and Fetch were like two peas in a pod. They just adored each other. Fetch was quite the character. Misty was gorgeous. They were no trouble to look after. Jo's townhouse was lovely in a really nice area of Umina. Close to Ettalong, Pearl Beach and Terrigal. Thanks Jo.
