We need a house sitter

Northern - Gascoyne

Come to the stunning Shark Bay area and house sit for us, we have 1 dog and 3 cats that need someone to spend some time with them while we’re away for about 3 weeks.

The housesit would suit 1-2 people as the house is a small 3x1 with a large surrounding yard made up of shell grit and blue metal, so if you have a caravan / van / campervan etc, plenty of room to park or set up with access to external power points and yard is also enclosed.

It can get a bit warm in November, each room has an air conditioner. There is a king size bed in one room, and a queen size in the other, the rooms are quite small so no room to put additional mattresses etc down for extra people.

Our pets are very easy to look after, the dog does love the beach and walks and although not expected, it’d be great if he could get out for walks or a trip to the beach, we have a car you can use just for that purpose.

There are only pot plants and a couple of raised garden beds that need watering and no other gardening required.

A very easy lock up and leave house if you want to get out and about to explore this beautiful part of WA.

We had such a good time at Deborah's house with her 3 cats and 3 dogs! That may sound like a handful but they all knew their routines and were low maintenance; really a pleasure to look after. Since two of the dogs stay outside it never felt chaotic inside the house. All the pets are very good natured; the dogs are friendly with everyone at the beach and the cats are great company when chilling at the house. We never had to worry about any of them. I had a wonderful opportunity to house sit for Deb and Pete at Exmouth whilst they enjoyed some time away. After not visiting or living there for over 20 years, just seeing the transformation of the town in that time was amazing. Having the opportunity to swim with the Whalesharks was even more exciting.
