We need a house sitter

Melbourne - Yarra-Dandenong Ranges

Natasha

We have 1 Jack Russell, 1 Border Collie, 2 cats, and 4 chickens, the chickens look after themselves. Both dogs are very friendly. We live on 15 acres in the Yarra Valley with an inground swimming pool. The house is in great condition, surrounded by natural bush, mudbrick contruction, aircon and 4 bedrooms. 5 mins from Healesville township in a secluded location. We would like to meet house sitters prior to agreement. Couples preferred.

What a lovely sit. Banjo was a little ball of endless enthusiasm, gleefully chasing his collection of tennis balls up and down the hills that make up the property, Flynn and Millie were our two feline friends, with an enclosed area off the laundry so they could come and go as they please. The chooks have been set up with a solar powered pen so looked after themselves and down the hill were Sunshine and Xylene the two goats. The home is lovely with gorgeous views of the treetops out the main ... MORE

Mick, Tash and family were very welcoming, and live in their own little patch of paradise. I now know how to tackle the driveway - it just takes practice! They showed us around before their departure, and emailed a digital copy of the instructions through too. They also provided phone numbers, and were always ready to chat about any questions we had while they were away. Their pets are very friendly, and we found they take well to strangers (always ready for a pat, smooch and a play!) Feel free ... MORE

Thanks for your review Mick, what a shame your holiday was cut short by covid restrictions. You have a wonderful home in an idyllic location in Healesville area. Best of Luck - Rick

We had a lovely stay at Mick and Tash's place. Healesville is a great part of Victoria. The house was out of town, but close enough to enjoy everything the town had to offer. Great area to explore. Lovely surrounds and it was great to have the pool to cool off in. Thanks for a lovely stay. Margaret and Keith
