Graeme & Katie
Hi, we are looking at getting someone to sit on the south coast of NSW.
We have a couple of options for accommodation.
1 - we have a self contained studio flat with a queen size bed
2 - you can be self contained in your caravan or motor home, we can provide power and water
3 - you can sleep in your caravan or motor home and use the facilities in the flat
You would be required to look after our 10yr old Labrador, Ruby. She is very easy going, and loves a ball to chase!
You are welcome to bring a well behaved dog, the yard is fully fenced. Just as long as they don't chase the chook!
We have a few cows to just keep an eye on and 1 chicken.
Katie and Graeme are a very kind couple. They made Dougie and I feel very welcome. Ruby is an absolute sweetheart! It was great to find a dog that matches Dougie’s energy. They loved chasing each other and fetching her ball. The farm is in a great location and is only a 5 minute drive to the Mogo Zoo, which is incredible! I hope that i can look after their animals again someday.
Graeme, Katie and Cooper live in an ideal spot to base yourself for exploring. Their studio unit is great for a couple with everything needed for a stay. Fully equipped with cooking facilities, shower and toilet, queen sized bed, reverse cycle air con and tv.
Their animals were a delight to look after and mostly self sufficient. The chooks laid a daily egg and put themselves to bed, we simply had to lock the door. We moved the 3 cows once and that was an easy task. Last is Ruby the Labrador. ... MORE
It was great to sit for Graeme and Katie again and also to meet Cooper again after 5 years. He'd grown into a young boy.
Of course there was Ruby the very obedient and lovable dog. She is a pleasure to play catch with and she sure loves her water games. Billy got along great with Ruby though 1 mama cow didn't want him too close to ger baby..
I enjoyed the few chores I had for the cows, heifers and one baby boy. Who wouldn't!

Had a lovely stay at Graeme and Katies.. They set-up everything.. made it so easy to look after there animals. Communication was spot on. Love the area they live in.
We loved our stay with Graeme & Katie. Their flat was a great break from staying in our caravan & Ruby their dog an absolute dream to care for!
Graeme and Katie were great owners, nothing was a problem to them. I got to play with young Cooper before they left and that was great fun. Ruby the Labrador is a beautiful girl and responded well to the love and attention given to her. I could not believe her never ending energy in chasing the ball and leaping into the dam to chase sticks. The chooks were easy to care for and provided me with beautiful fresh eggs.

I had such a great time at this Mogo housesit especially with Ruby the wonder dog. She was such wonderful company and so well behaved and obedient. Oreo the bull was a gentle giant and I had no qualms entering his paddock with the evening hay feed. The fish and chickens were an easy daily feed and of course, Ruby came with me every time to make sure I was doing it properly!! Sitting for Katie and Graeme at Mogo in a rural location not far from the Village in private location Watching their Ozline cattle keeping silage up to them feeding fish/hens Katie and Graeme were both very welcoming and supportive The initial sit was only a short stay but they extended the sit until my next sit started on January 10 After returning Graeme showed me how to use the ride on mower designed with levers not a wheel Trial laps around the paddock soon developed confidence and then ... We stayed in our van as it suited us but had access to power and water and a shower. Really enjoyed the time in this area. Beautiful country. Their dog Rubie was a pleasure to spend time with and even enjoyed the cows. Only disappointment was that I was looking forward to a bit of gold panning in the creek but it rained heavily and there was too strong a flow for me
I fully recommend a Housesit at Graeme and Katie's place at Dignams Creek! Ruby is a well trained and delightful dog and my time with the cows was quite fun! The unit is very spacious and comfortable! A very nice housesit for a lovely couple and their adorable baby boy!
We have had a great time here looking after Ruby the almost human Labrador and there cows.Graeme Katie and baby Cooper are a great family who have a great property which you will enjoy if asked to farm sit.Thanks guys.Mark &Mary
