We have 2 rescue cats that are indoor only. One is very anxious and prefers quiet. The other is very gregarious and will be near you constantly. They both love to curl up with you at night. Their care would involve feeding morning and evening, keeping water fresh, daily cleaning out of litter, and changing litter every fortnight.
We also have 3 rescue goats. One full size who is a big softy and just loves to be patted and fussed over. A dwarf female who can move from being affectionate to a bit assertive and a young male goat who just wants to sniff everything, eat everything, and be in your face. Care would involve maintaining water, feeding morning and night, and giving them pellets at night (goat lollies).
We have a 4 bed, double story house on 5 acres of garden and bush with a creek and dam. We have fruit trees and some vege garden beds.We are on tank water, have a grey water system, and solar. You would have your own bedroom, all the kitchen appliances, wifi, spa etc Sitting on the verandah and watching the birds and wallabies in the afternoon is a great way to end the day.
We have 2 train stations a couple of km away, local shops and cafes about a 5 min drive, and lots of great bush walks (many with waterfalls).
We would just ask you to water the house plants and possibly the garden if it's been dry.
