We need a house sitter

Sydney - Sutherland

We have a four bedroom, two story house in Barden Ridge available. All bedrooms located upstairs with a play room. Three showers and toilets available. Aircon and dishwasher available. Netflix and Disney Plus available. Located in a beautiful neighbourhood with plenty of options for bush walking.

We have two dogs and two cats that require feeding morning and night during your stay. The dogs are rescue dogs. They are beautiful dogs but will bark a lot to begin with and are very nervous with new people. House sitters will need to be patient and willing to take time with them. They are mostly outside dogs (they get to come inside with us of an evening but sleep outside). They may not be interested in interacting with house sitters at all - trust takes time to build up with them. Feeding them in the morning and night is all that is required. IF you would like to spend additional time playing with them, that is great but they are good buddies and are very happy with their own company :-) The cats are both inside at all times. They require morning and evening feeds. One will probably ignore you :-) The other one may be interested in cuddles once she gets to know you.

It was an absolute pleasure house and pet sitting for Jan and her lovely family! Communication was so very clear and quick and included everything we needed to know. The house is a lovely home away from home with everything any anything we needed. It was so easy to just come in, unpack and be ready to holiday! Jan and Dona home was so lovely to stay at, and their dogs Ava and Chester and cats Ellie and Beth were so easy to take care of. Their home has such a stunning view over the mountains, It’s so warm and comfortable and has everything you would need, we really enjoyed sitting in the family room watching Disney+ on the telly. Lovely house in a quiet but beautiful location with loads of places to see. Jan and her family were so friendly and accommodating and would've helped us with anything had it been needed. The animals were so easy to look after and gave us no trouble whatsoever. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Plenty of communication and quick replies when anything was needed. We loved staying with Jan's delightful pets. It was well worth spending a couple of hours sitting quietly with dogs Chester and Ava on the first night to help them feel safe, so they could then come inside during the day and stay outside at night without fretting. We watched while they were eating to make sure they both followed the rules. Also the cats are lovely, Revesby location is convenient to both Padstow and Revesby train stations. It was a pleasure to look after Jan's menagerie and home. Communication was great and we enjoyed our stay. We did manage to win over the dogs (eventually as they were quite timid) and they were very sweet. The cats, especially Beth, loved attention!
