We need a house sitter

Northern Territory - Darwin

Jenny & Peter

We are wanting a couple who would be keen to property sit, preferably with own caravan. Plenty of room to park up to look around Darwin. Would suit retired or semi-retired couple.
Not suitable for families or pets.
We have - 3 chooks, a few tropical fish in tanks & 3 quails.
A saltwater swimming pool.
My husbands pride & joy is his 5 acres of assorted fruit trees, pineapples, passion fruit, so would like someone with plenty of energy to maintain everything, picking up branches, palm fronds, automatic sprinkler systems, watering some pot plants.
Some knowledge of bore usage would be great.
We would prefer people with their own caravan, (can have access to bathroom & laundry). Power & water hookup available if required.

We have just spent 2 fabulous weeks at Jenny & Peter's property in Humpty Doo. They were very welcoming & gave us clear directions as to what we needed to do & their garden is just beautiful. Speights the chocolate Labrador was a delight to spend time with and extremely relaxed with us (until Mum & dad returned & then we got dumped ). 5 chooks were easy to care for as were the numerous tropical fish. Great housesit. We had a day with Jenny and Peter before they left and instructions were thorough. They also had a printed information handout to jog our memories about fish feeding and looking after the chickens and much more. Beautiful manicured lawns and gardens, lovely deck area, and pool was a godsend on those warm days. If we are in the Darwin area again we will definitely let you know.
