We need a house sitter

Hunter Valley - Upper Hunter Valley

Craig & Jayne

A rural and relaxed long house sit.
We are seeking experienced sitters (couples preferred) to look after our 4 dogs (retired show dogs) and house for 7 weeks over Autumn. Rural house sit experience is an advantage.

We have a large 4 bedroom house on 5 acres in the Hunter Valley. Plenty of room for a caravan or motorhome or accomodation is available in the house. We are located approx. 5 Kilometres from town so own transport is essential.

Duties would include daily care and feeding of our dogs ( 3 older Siberian Huskies and 1 Cavalier), mowing and watering gardens as needed. Our dogs, are in well established routines, giving you the freedom to explore the area during the days. No experience with or additional grooming of the dogs is required.

We found Craig and Jayne to be warm, welcoming and great communicators and they have a very comfortable and modern home. The document which Jayne provided explained the routine for the dogs and we understood what we needed to do. It was also very helpful to have the opportunity to gain extra tips for looking after the dogs by watching & listening to Jayne managing the dogs. What an amazing seven weeks caring for Jane and Craig's show dogs. 3 Cavaliers and 3 Huskies kept us busy and entertained. The time passed very fast as there was always something to do and Jane kept in touch even from a far distant place. Overall a wonderful experience and the house was fabulous to stay in. We had a lovely time at Craig & Jayne's home. The area is very quiet, safe with lots of local attractions. The home is very clean & well-kept & easy to care for. The dogs were the highlight of the Stay, such loving souls who want nothing more than company & loads of cuddles. Jayne left extremely detailed instructions on how to care for the home & dogs, which made everything easy. All up, I would highly recommend.

Just had a wonderful stay at Craig and Jaynes place near Scone NSW. They have a lovely large home in a beautiful part of NSW. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and set amongst other great farms. No rating Craig and Jayne's place is a sit in a quiet rural location close to Scone. His dogs have a very generous yard area and were very easy to deal with. The house is modern, clean, comfortable and offered a very relaxing uncomplicated sit out with fresh air and a sense of spaciousness not find in suburban sits. Thanks guys.

No rating Very comfortable home on nice big block, plenty of room for a van and vehicle, Looking after the Huskies was a real treat for us. If you haven't had any prior experience with huskies be prepared for lots of talking and yelling on their behalf. We loved it, they were all adorable with great personalities.
