Brisbane - Outer Northern Suburbs
Sylvia
I have to go to WA in December as my son is having his hip replaced and I will be caring for the grandies.
I live in Morayfield, [north of Brisbane] . I think this sit is best suited for a single person. There is not a lot of space in the house as several rooms have been consumed by my out-of-control sewing habit. It's a 4-bedroom house but only 2 of those rooms are used as bedrooms. The spare room (yours) has a queen-sized bed, side table, chest of drawers and some wardrobe space. It's a tight fit, but it works. There's a TV room and an open plan living-dining-kitchen. I'm not house proud so don't worry too much over the housework. I have a very small yard that is completely paved (no mowing, yah!!), and the neighbours take care of mowing the footpath. There are a few pot plants and raised garden beds that need to be watered. I've got good internet access with unlimited data you are most welcome to use. You don't need to be home all the time, but I would prefer someone who wasn't at a full-time job as my dogs are not used to being alone all the time. They are happy to stay on their own if you want to take a day trip, also great in the car if you're interested in taking them with you.
I have 2 small dogs. Toffee is a 5-year-old Cavoodle. He's love on legs, quite smart but plays dumb very well. He has a proven track record of stealing things and chewing/eating them. Luckily shoes are not on his list, but clothes or other fabric certainly is. Fudge is a Shitzu-Pekinese cross with a bad attitude and a face only his mother could love. He lost an eye earlier this year due to an ulcer on it but has adapted to life as a pirate very well. He sometimes has issues with newcomers, especially men, but once he knows you, he's a really sweet boy but defiantly not a lap-sitter. There might be a training schedule, if you could keep that up it would be great. They are on a specific single protein diet. They are fed twice a day. Apart from love and pats they don't need much else.
