***We are flexible for a 3 month sit, or can be up to 6 months if required ***

We have a modest 3 bedroom house on 16 acres - extremely quiet, tranquil and private location that's a real haven to relax and unwind. You can't see any neighbours - only trees, hills and a paddock. Can't even see the road from our house.

We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 donkeys and 4 chickens (considering rehoming chickens before we leave).

We prefer:
- a couple who work from home to give our pets the love they deserve (will consider 1 or 2 children over age 7 as there can be some hazards on a rural property)

- definitely no other animals

To note:

- You HAVE to commit to the 63month house sit. We can be flexible with dates and it's fine if we overlap as we have the caravan as backup. We will be travelling around Australia so please only respond if you can definitely commit to the full 6 months.

- We are 70km from Perth central, so our location is best suited to people who work from home or homeschool and are happy to just hang out in our tranquil location without the need to travel long distances.

- Northam (inland) is our closest town where you'll find Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Bunnings, an amazing public swimming pool with slides, Dome cafe, Riverside cafe, library and more

- The master bedroom will not be available as we will store our belongings there to make space for you in the 2 other bedrooms.

- The 2 rooms available are roughly 3.5 x 3.2m each. 1 room has a single bed, the other a Double bed

- The donkeys are very friendly, intuitive animals who love to hang around literally by the front door. It would be good if you have some idea of working with equines or at least are not scared of them, as you will need to move them from 1 paddock to another (carrots work!). They will take a little bit of time to get comfortable with you, but if they sense your good intention and you spend some time with them (reading a book while just hanging out in their vicinity or playing my drum for them) will help to build rapport. They are very inquisitive and incredibly smart.

We have 2 dogs - Kira and Loki - both 5 years old. Loki is everyone's best friend and Kira is the protector, but as soon as she smells your good intentions, she'll give you lots of love

Our cats are Chilli (3yo) and Mishka (17yo). Chilli regularly catches mice and eats them whole (yes, it's as gross as it sounds!)

We have a low tox household, so would appreciate no harsh chemicals. In saying that, we do have a cleaner that cleans every 2 weeks for 2 hours on a Friday and she does use chemicals, so we make sure to air the house out when she's here. She will continue her cleaning while you're in our home as we don't want to loose her. She's amazing!
