We need a house sitter

Northern Victoria - Bendigo

Attention cat lovers! I am looking for an individual or couple who would like to look after my 21 year old cat Honey; she is easy to look after, just needs feeding about 2-3 times per day, changing litter tray and letting in and out of the house for a wander around. Gardening includes leaf blowing, raking and watering. Wifi works very well if you're a digital nomad. There is air conditioning throughout the house but I ask that you switch it off when not in use. My house is in Quarry Hill, a central part of Bendigo, which is a fantastic destination to stay at in itself and an excellent base for travelling to many places for day trips; the train station is a 5 minute drive from which you can catch a train to Melbourne and the bus runs along my street. There is a good coffee shop that does lunch, cakes etc. a 5 minute walk away. Note: if you prefer a longer stay, you can stay from 28th December (I have another sitter who can only do from 28 December - 7 January but is okay if someone else does the entire sit.)
Note; unfortunately heavy vehicles such as RVs and caravans cannot be parked in my driveway as the cement won't handle the weight. The driveway is quite wide and could accommodate two cars. Helen

No rating Helen's beautiful art deco house is very clean and organised and Helen left clear and precise instructions, not missing out on anything you would need to know. Helen was very responsive//helpful and welcoming - getting back to me straight away after I made the initial inquiry, answering all my questions and confirming the sit the same evening. We were in steady touch up to and during the sit. I got a comprehensive orientation to the house, to Honey’s care and a thick manual for the house so I knew exactly what was expected. We truly enjoyed this stay. The older Victorian home has immediate access to public transport, and Bendigo central business district is an easy 15-minute walk. The yard is large and requires the usual autumn and winter maintenance, with a bit of extra work after the typical late-winter wind and storms. I found Helen's home conveniently located to public transportation, and in close proximity to a lovely reserve/playground space, walking/cycling track and a general store style Cafe that I highly recommend visiting whilst there. We really enjoyed house sitting for Helen and looking after Honey, her beautiful cat. A gorgeous home and garden, in a great location in Bendigo. We highly recommend this housesit and appreciated Helens clear, friendly and prompt communication.

No rating Thankyou Helen for sharing you home with us, Honey the cat was so easy, it was a pleasure to look after her. Your house is very cosy and we enjoyed our cold nights by the open fire cooking marshmallows. I'm going to miss the short walks into town and the little cafe just a few doors down for my morning coffee. No rating Very short sit in a lovely older style but very comfortable inner city (Bendigo) house. Cat (Honey) was no trouble and the garden was easily maintained. The owner (Helen) was very helpful and friendly with comprehensive notes re feeding, watering, washing machine etc. making for an enjoyable sit.
