We need a house sitter

Canberra - Woden Valley

Hi there, we are headed to Perth to see family and we would prefer to have someone house sit over boarding our pets.

Farrer is a quiet and green suburb in Woden Valley. Our house backs onto a reserve that continues on a nice walk up Farrer Ridge. There is an IGA and (really) good cafe in walking distance.

Our two cavoodles are well trained (crate trained). Tuffy is nearly 10 and just wants cuddles. Bowie is 3 and has more energy. Bowie is nervous around new people, so may bark at first, but he is a very sweet dog.

The garden is pretty dense. You are more than welcome to potter if you would like, but we do not expect maintenance.

Couldn't speak more highly of this housesit. Despite being in Western Australia and a different time zone, Phil was so helpful and communicative. Bowie was a little shy at first, but after a few treats and walks, he very quickly became Velcro Dog :-). He and Tuffy were such sweet and well-behaved flooffers, who loved their walks around the many bush tracks around Farrer. Lovely house and area in which to stay. Thanks Phil and Anj.

This house sit was brilliant. The house is lovely and large with great outdoor space to enjoy the sun. Both pups were great to look after, very friendly (though one needed a day to get used to me) and easy to care for. The birds kept me company chirping away in the background. Phil and Anj gave clear and helpful notes on the sit before they left and were great to communicate with. I really recommend house sitting for Phil and Anj, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
