We need a house sitter

We'd love someone to come and house sit for us and keep our pets company whilst we're away. We have a naughty but loving parrot, a rag doll cat who eats and sleeps and complains about the food quality and 2 very loving staffie cross dogs. They aren't hard animals to look after but the dogs can pull on a lead but this is being minimised by training and a Halti collar. They love all people including little kids. Basically they just love company, pats and a game (the ball being returned to you depends on the day).

Depending on the heat there may be a few pot plants to water.

We live close to the lake where it is nice to walk around and 10 minutes drive from the beach. We are on the Central Coast but are basically the last suburb before Newcastle.

You must be a non smoker and no dogs unfortunately.

We had a great experience of Sharon & Rod - both warm, welcoming, generous people. They left very clear information regarding pet care needed & also what's available locally - both of which made our stay easier & more enjoyable. Their home is located within an easy walk of the water's edge & has the added bonus of a pool, which we enjoyed on the hot days. We also loved the big bath on the cooler evenings. Enjoyed our first 'sit' through Aussie. Dogs easy to care for, had poor weather on a few days and they coped beautifully outside. Cheeky the parrot a pleasure to chat to, and Jasper the cat an independent soul who warmed to us with each day. Explored a hidden gem of the central coast. Sharon very friendly and communicated well. Thanks for the opportunity to meet your pets and stay in your home!
