We need a house sitter

Hi looking for a farm sitter, must love dogs, and capable of looking after / checking cows, troughs etc, be here most of the days, for the majority of the day, this is due to the British bulldog, requiring a tablet twice a day ( placed in a piece of sausage, we provide), but for shopping etc, and local site seeing, I work from home so the dogs are used too company, and being kept an eye on. Can stay in your van or in the house. Not suitable for Children, a mature couple would be ideal. sitters with there own van are welcome to come early and stay longer if they would like. We won't leave for a day after you arrive to show you around and the property 1300 arces, how to start / use the cart, and see the dogs routine's etc.

Thanks to Deb and Grant for choosing us to look after your home, furry and feathered critters and stock. Thanks to Deb’s awesome ‘how to manual’ we felt relaxed and in control throughout the sit. The handover the day before the sit started was thorough, ensuring we knew what was required. Our stay at Grants and Debs property was just what was needed away from the hassle of city life for a month. Mack and Bundy the dogs were very obedient and became great mates . Going out each day on the side by side was exciting to see if another cow had calved ,we were fortunate to have had six born on our stay. Deb & Grant are a great couple, down to earth, no fuss. Very hospitable & communicate well from pre-sit meet on. Deb was very organised with information folder as to care, feeding & routines for all the animals, along with vet, contact details, vehicles etc.. Peaceful property with running creeks,dams,lovely grazing country to enjoy whilst checking on quiet cattle. Both dogs win your heart very quickly, are obedient, calm & are faithfully by your side. Thanks Deb & Grant for a great 2 weeks spent at your farm in Dalby where we took care of your 20 cattle, 12 chooks & 2 very friendly dogs viz. Harvey (the Great Dane) & Mack (the English Bulldog). Both dogs had personalities + & were easy to look after. The highlight of our stay was swimming in the heated pool. So glad we had good rain for you to come home to fields of green grass.
