I was a bit unsure about looking after Karens 4 cats 1 dog and 2 birds on short notice, but Karens instructions were easy to follow . The cats with their individuality took a bit of time coming around and warming to me but they were all lovely. Little Max the dog was really cute, and the birds chirped away happily. I really enjoyed the sit. Thanks for trusting me, Karen.

This was an enjoyable house sit with a menagerie of 4 cats, 1 dog and 2 cockatiels. The pets were all affectionate and friendly, adopting me into the family almost immediately (if being followed around and climbed on for cuddles is anything to go by) and their play wrestling and various antics were very entertaining…never a dull moment. Karen fosters pets for rehoming, so the occasional bathroom mishap wasn’t unexpected…an easy fix with a few paper towels and disinfectant wipes. Karen ... Karen was great to communicate with and left clear written instructions on the pet needs, the guest room was neat and comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised to find Easter eggs in my room on arrival. I very much enjoyed being at Karen's, getting to care for and know each of her cute pets, with their fun individual personalities. They really were a joy to be around, especially doggie Max, who became my shadow. I had my own personal fan-club haha; so fun. The accommodation was very comfortable & clean, with my own bathroom, as well. Karen kindly allowed me to stay an extra night when she returned, before I was to start at my next housesit.
