My wife and I are going away for nearly 5 weeks and need someone to housesit and look after our Australian Bulldog 'Chatsworth'.

Chatsworth is a very kind doggo that loves to sleep through the whole night. He becomes quite active in the afternoon and loves to play.
He loves everyone and all the dogs and is getting better with his recall. He is best walked on the lead, however, if you have his two favourite bouncy balls and/or treats, he will give you his undivided attention!

He knows how 'sit, 'stay', 'drop' 'touch' 'here', 'go to his mat' 'shake' etc.
He loves being outside and playing in the garden, but is definitely an inside dog at nighttime. He has become quite accustomed to sleeping on the couch and loves to snuggle up.
He is a strong dog (approx 28kg) so having treats whilst on the walk is a must (this would be provided).

Our home is a 15 minute walk from the beach in St Leonards, with the shops along the way. There are some nice cafes, IGA, and a couple of take-away options.

If you enjoy going for long walks along the beach or through the bush (that are easy) then St Leonards is the place for you :)
10-12 minute drive to Portarlington.
30-minute drive to the Geelong CBD.

Our home is a small-ish house with 3 bedrooms, living, dining, bathroom, laundry with washing machine, kitchen with all standard amenities, and quite a large open yard. Please note that our house is half-renovated - bedrooms & laundry & bathroom are modern but kitchen, dining and living are older however still cosy & all is in working order.
There is an outdoor covered carport within the property, however, we usually just park on the street.
No garden maintenance will be required, however if you feel like mowing the grass, that would be an amazing bonus!

Chatsworth has become quite used to people being around him as my wife & baby are at home quite a lot.
We are looking for a person (or people) who will be home around 50% of their time whilst housesitting.
