We need a house sitter

Hunter Valley - Lower Hunter Valley

Ellen and Andrew

4 bedroom home (photos are coming!)
- Master bed: king bed and ensuite - we usually close this off depending on the number of people sitting so we can store our baby items in there and give you more space.
- Bedroom 2 - Single bed (Toddlers Room)
- Bedroom 3 - Queen bed
- Bedroom 4 (large)- King bed with sliding door access to patio

Bath, Shower and Separate Toilet.
Laundry (washer and dryer)
Media Room (With TV)
Study / Nursery
Lounge Room (with TV) , Dining and Kitchen in an open plan setting.

2 friendly doggo's who would need a short play in a garden each day and a short walk every second day.
Boris (male) - 8 year old Aussie X English bulldog
Charlie (female) - 4 year old Kelpie X Staffy
They have a dog door and go in and out when they please.

Plants may need a water if looking sad but not a necessity.

Our home was built in 2018 so is fairly new with the following features:

We have a cot and high chair we can set up for families that need it. As well as plenty of toddler toys / bikes etc.

Chisholm is a relatively new estate located just outside of Newcastle with over 7km of gorgeous walking / riding paths. There is also 2 children's playgrounds in the estate.

5 min drive to Thornton where there is a Coles, Bottle shop, pharmacy, post office, fast food options, medical center, bakery, nail salon, library etc.

5 min drive to the historic town Morpeth with pubs, restaurants, cafe's and boutique shops.

5-10 mins drive to Thornton train station which goes into Newcastle ~30-50 min ride on the train.

10 min drive to Westfields Greenhills with all normal Westfield Shopping Center amenities.

10/15 min drive to Maitland

25-30 min drive to Newcastle and the Airport.

30 - 40 min drive to the beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Region.

We have spent two great weeks in Ellen & Andrew’s place in Chisholm. The house is new and very comfortable, set in a quiet estate near Maitland; only 2 minutes’ walk to a large, safe, off-leash field where the dogs can play. Boris and Charlie are the loveliest big dogs we have ever met: well-behaved and smart, plus they get on very well with people, other dogs and with each other. It was hard leaving them…We are very grateful to Ellen and Andrew for making us feel comfortable and welcome.

Lovely easy to care for dogs. Boris just likes belly rubs and Charlie chasing blocks of wood! Easy communication with Ellen . Close to Morpeth for food in the pub!

We had a great time looking after Charlie and Boris! Ellen was a great communicator, relaxed and kind. We met Ellen and Andrew on arrival who gave us a tour of the house explained everything. We enjoyed daily walks with Charlie and Boris who are the easiest dogs ever to walk! Our three year old could even walk Boris, he's so chilled! We enjoyed exploring the area! Highly recommend. Thanks for having us.

Gorgeous doggies, Boris big personality and so clever and cute. Charlie so obedient, sweet and loves a good chase the ball. I would look after these two again in a blink of the eye. Ellen & Stuart made me feel welcome in their home - everything you ever want. Peaceful as well as convenient to all things you ever need.
