We are a retired couple wanting to travel north in our truck and van.
The property is 120 acres of rural land with 360 degree awesome views, a creek to walk through, birds, Kangaroos, Emus and Brolgas, quiet, peaceful and no passing traffic near the house. Photographers, both landscape and wildlife, will love it.
Comfortable modern house with two bedrooms, plus study, with all amenities. Huge back verandah furnished with dining table and outdoor lounge. BBQ, Mineral Spa. Starlink internet. Large smart TV's, Art studio if you are so inclined. Workshop with forge and tools also if you are so inclined. Large sheds for parking car and or caravan.
The garden is in a current state of development, and hopefully will be finished before we go away, so there will be watering, maintenance and a fair amount of lawn mowing (zero turn mower and also small amount with push mower) Pots to water. There would be mowing and wiper snipping around sheds and the house, and also monitoring bore pumps and tank levels for the water.
Total 30 klm from Rockhampton on sealed road and 4 klms of unsealed road (good condition). The locals are friendly and helpful, they have regular social events at the local hall and polocrosse grounds. You can get/buy most of what you will need in Rocky, its a large town, lots of social and art groups. There is a older Mazda Ute for use if you need it for town pick ups of larger items etc.

MOST IMPORTANTLY!! we have two Whippets, they are quiet and well behaved but need walking (on leads so they don't chase the wildlife!) every afternoon. They love company (wary of children) chats, treats and pats, are flea free and are inside dogs with their own beds, (not the lounge!) They also have outside verandah beds. They may come and wake you in the mornings if you are hurkle durkling (ie. sleeping in)......
We also have one horse who has a slice or two of bread each day, so he comes up for a chat, and we may have one more if we can find another for company for him in the mean time.
An idyllic spot if you like peace and quiet.
We have our very capable nephew that lives 14klm away if you ever need help with anything.
