Dover TAS

Kind person or couple to house sit and mind our little dog in Dover, southern Tasmania. You will need your own transport.

Dover is a beautiful southern seaside village, with sailing, fishing, swimming, walking available for outdoor recreation. There is a local shopping centre with IGA, Chemist, Post Office, Bendigo Bank, laundromat & beautician, a thriving sailing club, RSL club and several coffee shops and woodfired pizza cafe on weekends. All are walking distance from our house.

Approx 1hr 15 mins to Hobart, 30- 40 mins to Huonville; 20 mins to Geeveston.

A beautiful part of the world.

Our house is an Older style weatherboard House consisting of Two double bedrooms and study; 1 bathroom; sitting room, sunroom/family/dining; modern kitchen; separate laundry; internet; netflix, prime and Britbox available.

Heat pump for heating/cooling; wood available for wood fires in living areas.

Our Small dog (Dasha) is housetrained. She will need walking each day, is a home body and loves company. Sleeps indoors, travels well in a car.

We will arrange for mowing if you can’t do that while we are away - there may be watering of garden needed if it is hot and there are some indoor plants that will need watering. Fruit trees may be bearing fruit.

We have helpful and friendly neighbours.
