We need a house sitter

South Eastern Victoria - Gippsland

Hi, we have a lovely, modern beach house, walking distance from the beach, Surf Club and Town. We will be away for 6 weeks from July 2025 to August 2025 and we need a couple to mind our easygoing kelpie, Rex. We are looking for a retired couple or a couple who work from home. Don't be put off by the glum look, he is very friendly, happy and low maintenance. He loves a walk along the beach in the morning and a short walk in the afternoon. Rex sleeps inside on his bed at night and sleeps anywhere he likes during the day. He can be happily left inside the house for a few hours while you travel the tourist hot spots or he will happily come with you! Rex does have a tablet with his meal morning and night.
Our house is single-level, 9 years old with good wi-fi, underfloor heating, north facing windows and in a very quiet and beautiful area of Inverloch. The garden is native and low maintenance. There is plenty of room in the driveway for a car and caravan with good access.

A most enjoyable house-sit. An exceptional property with plenty of space inside and out, with every amenity in place to make for a fantastic sit. The township of Inverloch has many enjoyable walks in all directions from this well located property, and the beach is a few minutes away. Rexy, the kelpie - an absolutely delightful, quiet dog who is very well socialised. We would like to recommend the house sitting at Brad and Judy's place in Inverloch. Whilst we had some unusual weather during our stay it did not stop us getting out and about with some great walks around the area with their lovely kelpie, Rex. He was a pleasure to look after, so well behaved and loveable. The street that they live in is only 5 minutes from the beach with plenty of walking tracks close by.
