I live in a large, historic house in central Ballarat. The house is well located to all the offerings of central Ballarat and the delights of Lake Wendouree, which is about 200m from the house. The house itself has four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, a study and a covered verandah overlooking the back yard. The deck has outdoor dining options along with a BBQ. The yard is large and private. The house is well heated with central heating in the main living areas, gas heaters in the bedrooms and reverse cycle air conditioning in the living areas as well. The laundry has a drying cupboard heated from the central heating, which works really well.

I am a busy educator who loves to travel. I have two lovely German Shepherd Dogs - Holly and Lenny - who love being at home and their lovely yard. I have travel plans and would much prefer to have sitters in to look after the dogs rather than sending them to kennels.

The dogs enjoy a walk each day. They walk on the lead together well but if there are two people, that would be ideal. It would be great if a few of the plants could be watered during the sit - a couple of roses out the front and vegies in the garden out back.
