We have 40 beautiful picturesque acres in the Yarra Valley. Only 10 mins to Seville and 15 mins to Emerald. We have taken in rescue farm animals who are all treated as loving pets. We have 5 goats, 5 sheep, 2 pet pigs, 4 cows, 4 horses, 2 dogs and a scaredy cat that lives in the barn. All very friendly and love attention. They are easy to look after the main jobs are feeding in morning for some animals and again at night and making sure everyone is secure. Doesn't take long. The dogs live inside and love following you around and being part of everything especially coming with you at feed times and walks around farm. There are plenty of amazing wineries and tourist attractions nearby. We are looking for someone who loves all animals and will take good care of them all. It will be winter time so and it gets cold and wet in our area. We have a fireplace that keeps the house nice and warm.
We really enjoyed our stay at Laras. The property is beautiful - we loved watching the sunsets over the valley from the top of the hill. We had fun feeding all the animals and the dogs were very patient with our cheeky 1yr old. We even got to take him on pony rides on the very sweet little pony Tuscany!
We were warmly welcomed by Lara, Mark and Maddie and their extended family of four-legged friends who were a delight to care for. The two puppies Ash and Odie were lovely well mannered dogs with very sweet personalities. Theirs is a beautiful property with gorgeous views across the Valley and we enjoyed many walks whilst checking on the cattle herd of seven. We loved the farm fresh eggs from the well behaved chickens and best of all, finishing our day in front of the cosy fireplace!

This was one of the most enjoyable house sits I have done. I felt like a farmer getting up for the morning rounds and putting all the animals to bed. I was there over new year so it was warm enough to swim in the pool almost every day. She left clear and easy instructions and the house was great and relaxed with a huge comfy bed. Such a lovely property to walk about and stay at.
