We are a family of 4 located 15mins from Dookie and 20mins from Benalla.

We have 1 beautiful (indoor only) cat named Bean, who loves a good pat as long as it's on her terms! 3 friendly Orpington chooks named Biggie, Hey Girl, and Old Smokey.. as well as Karen our little frizzle hen who has just hatched 3 chicks. Our hens are mostly self sustainable. You will need to let them out to freerange in the morning and lock them up at night, open and close their food container daily and their water will need checking daily and refilling when empty or dirty. The very cute chicks will need checking on a couple of times a day, mostly to clean and refill their water and check their food container is full.

We also have a large ornamental garden and veggie patch that need watering daily, most of which is connected to irrigation but some will still require hand watering. The watering can be time consuming, but you are very welcome to help yourself to any veggies that ripen while you are here!

We are looking for a responsible person/persons to care for our home as if it were there own. BYO outdoor only pets ok, however preferably no cats.
