We need a house sitter

Northern Victoria - Macedon Ranges

Katelyn

We are looking for responsible and reliable sitter/s to look after our two dogs, Billy and George, while we are away. Billy will be about 3.5 years old, and George will be about 2. They love people, and dogs. They are generally well behaved, love to be with you, and to go with you if you go out. They are happy at home by themselves for around half a day - we work from home, so they are not used to being left alone all day.

Billy is fairly low maintenance, and is happy sleeping the day away. George is full of beans, and can be very excitable. Fortunately, there is plenty of space for him to run around (we are on 5 acres), and he is partial to a sleep in the sun if you are inside.

Billy is not good on the lead so long walks are not required. Around 30-40 minutes daily at the local dog park would be great. George must be crated in the car, so if you have space in your car for a medium size dog crate, plus Billy that would be ideal. We are about a 5 minute drive (6km) from town, so having your own transport is a must.

You are welcome to bring your caravan if you like, or you can have full use of our two bedroom bungalow.

Some watering of plants would be great (only if it hasn't been raining), but otherwise nothing to do other than look after the boys.

We arrived and was welcomed warmly by Katelyn. Of course, Billy and George were in the act as well. Two beautiful Kelpies that were a sheer pleasure to have for company for the next few days. All the information for this house sit was set out in print and we had no troubles whatsoever. Communication from the start to the finish was friendly, warm and more importantly clear. It was a pleasure looking after Billy. He is such a good natured & well mannered boy and he welcomed my two dogs to his lovely rural home for 5 days. Katelyn ensured that everything you could possibly need was provided for Billy & me. The bungalow is a home away from home with bird life & kangaroos nearby.
