We need a house sitter

South Eastern - Sunshine Coast

Philippa

My partner and I are going away for work and are looking for someone to stay at our house to care for and feed our 2 beautiful dogs. One is a female kelpie and the other is a male cattle dog. We are located in a very quiet cul de sac in the Sunshine Coast and have a fully fenced 3 bedroom home with wifi and air conditioning available. They are very sweet loving dogs who will follow you around the house and cuddle on the couch with you. Otherwise they are independent dogs and stay inside at home if you need to go out for the day. I also have a lot of house plants that I cherish so regular watering will also be required. Ideally looking for someone who works part time or is studying so they can be home more often than not.

Thanks Philippa & Tom! We stayed at their house recently and took care of their two lovely dogs, Indie and Jack. The dogs were very friendly and easy to care for. We couldn't walk far with Indie as she was definitely anxious, but she was happy to be at home and play in the garden. The house was very comfortable and close to Nambour for shops etc. Tom & Philippa were great to communicate with and gave us full instructions. If this is a good location for you we would recommend this house sit.

It was a pleasure to look after Jack and Indie, they are both affectionate, playful and well-behaved. They are very much people-dogs who loved company and belly rubs. We enjoyed getting to know them and their individual personalities, and we had fun playing with them in the day and cuddling on the couch at night. Philippa and Tom's dogs are adorable. They want to spend time with us, play, cuddle and eat 😂 You have to take care of the dogs and water a few plants. The work is easy. The house is super nice. It's super well equipped and spacious. One bedroom and bathroom are exclusively dedicated to pet sitters. Communication with Tom is very easy. He's very friendly. We had a wonderful experience pet sitting for Philippa and Tom. They were great hosts, taking the time to explain everything about the house and the dogs' routine. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. We had a lot of fun with the dogs; they were well-behaved, playful, and a joy to spend time with.
