We are looking for the 'right person/s' to farm sit our little hobby farm just 20mins out of Noosa.
You MUST be an animal lover - not just someone who feeds them.
We have 7 acres on Lake Cootharaba with
ð 1x large german shepherd dog(Halo)
ðââŽïļ 2x indoor cats (hairless)
ð 6x pygmy goats,
ð 20x chickens( and a Rooster)
ðĶĒ 7x ducks, and
ðĶ 1x peacok.
Our house sitter must be good with large dog breeds and able to take her on walks, she is also never left at home alone, as we are not fully fenced.
They also need to understand the importance of keeping cats locked in at all times (no matter what the cats tell you!) We have 2x sphynx cats who are very affection and love to snuggle you.
The chickens, ducks and goats really just need to be fed, watered and locked away at dusk, then let out at dawn every day. But they enjoy people's company just as much as the other pets, we will have baby chicks also.
As we have a rooster sleep-ins are not an option!
Our property offers so much to our sitters, from relaxing by the pool to cooking a beautiful meal in our open plan kitchen, take a private bush walk to Lake Cootharaba or a 15min drive and you are at Noosa's Marina with shops and restaurants.
We are looking to make regular short trips away this year, so someone whos somewhat local would suit.
