Looking for a house sitter/dog sitter. 2 x Border collies and 1 spanalier. 1 border collie will be 18 months old and is quite active. Will need to play fetch and entertain him for a couple of hours a day, other two dogs are older and just need love and cuddles. Spanalier sleeps inside, house trained and generally sleeps through the night, border collies sleep outside but are allowed in under supervision during the day. Young border collie can be a chewer when stressed but we have things in place to assist house sitter to minimise this.
Neat, tidy Queenslander style house, so there are stairs to climb, low maintenance gardens but may need to mow the lawn once and water indoor plants. 10 minute drive from nearest beach, lots of other beaches close by. Convenience store 100m away and 15 minutes drive to main shopping centres
Must be a dog lover but cannot have own dog as I don’t want to add to the stress of my dogs while I am away. Older border collie is quite anxious. I don’t expect anyone to walk my dogs but will need to be prepared to shower them in attention and play lots of games with young border collie.
