We need a house sitter

Mid North - Barossa Valley

Want a free holiday in the Barossa, plus earn some money? We need a housesitter for our house and elderly dog, and (possibly) a caretaker for our airbnb cabin. Stay in a traditional stone house, fully equipped with all conveniences, on 24 acres in Southern Barossa, close to all that Barossa and the Adelaide Hills have to offer. 20min to Gawler, 50min to Adelaide. We have a 13y.o. dog Gina that we'll ask you to look after, and to keep the house clean and in good order, and water the veggie garden and pots around the house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which will be available to you (1 double bed in one, and a sofa-bed in the other), We have an airbnb cabin on the property - please indicate if you're willing to take on caretaker duties (if the cabin is booked), for $70 per booking, link to AirBnB listing available on request. We would like to meet you and show you around - before confirming the sit, so people who are able/willing to travel to visit us are welcome to apply.

We had an enjoyable time sitting for Nellie and Stan, the pets were beautiful, Gina the dog was very well behaved, we loved her company, Obie the cat became our best friends, bought us a gift one day, a little mouse he wanted to bring indoors, no thanks Obie. We helped with the BNB, Nellie remunerated us, it was no trouble and the guests the same. All instructions were clear, watering the garden was no bother for us. This was one of favourite housesit! The pets, the house, the area - everything was just amazing and communication with Nelly and Stan was very easy! Gina is such a great dog - you wouldn't believe that she is so old. She is more playful and has more energy than most dogs! She is always happy, loves company and just follows you everywhere. Obi was a bit shy at the beginning but after 1-2 days was very happy to receive cuddles and sit next to you. We miss them both a lot! The house ... MORE
